I worked for IBM here in San Jose for 25 years in the disk drive business (1.5 year
of that in Mainz, Germany) before retiring in 2002.

Before that, I worked for Martin Marietta Corp (Denver and Orlando) for seven years.

I came to the US in 1960 from Japan when I was 12 years old and grew up in San
Francisco. I graduated from UC Berkeley with an EE Degree back in 1971 (seems like
yesterday).

I'm a proud dad of two beautiful daughters.
